Hello, I currently live in Chicago. Having gotten into photography back in 1983, I had at the time, and still do, a Nikon FM2, Nikon 50mm fl4 as my starting point. For the balance of the 80s and through the mid 90s I travelled to cities throughout the US and Europe taking pictures. By the mid 90s I left the photography scene somewhat to meet the demands of my real job. Thus as the photography world evolved into a digital age, I was watching from afar. Late in the 2000s, 2009 to be exact, I decided to get my feet wet and began a sojourn back to Europe as well as cities across the US.
I realize now that for me photography is a passion. It is also a hobby. I am always looking to refine and improve myself in image capture. Recently I have decided to try Food Photography. Thus I have taken a few online courses on the subject and I have intensely read on the photo techniques of Food Photography.
As far as software, I started using Iphoto, then moved to Adobe’s Elements & I quickly transitioned to raw capture. Currently I am a Lightroom user & I continue my workflow often in OnOneSoftware’s Perfect Photo Suite. Here on my site, I hope you enjoy viewing some of my work, and read my blog of posts about various topics.
